What you can do.

We need:

• Programmers:
  Assembler, C, C++, Python, Perl, Java, etc.. programmers.
  

• Artists:
  Gimp, PS, etc.. users designing nice logos, buttons and backgrounds.

• Testers:
  people donating there machine power to test the program and provide feedback.

• Documentalists: (Which reportedly is an english word.)
  people writing new and/or improving the existing on-site documentation.

• Researchers:
  people who Google for documentation or simply people that find out how things work.

• Bug reporters:
  You have found a bug? Great. Make sure your bug has not already been reported by browsing the bug database. If you are sure that it's a new bug..

  • .. and you've got Sourceforge.net-account:
    If you are not logged in (or remembered) by SF, follow this link.
    If you are logged in, follow this link.

  • Everyone else:
    Make sure you provide your email-address (but spam-obfuscated: e.g. billyboy@redmond-rules.com gets billyboy a t redmond-rules d o t com) when reporting the bug.

Developer mailing list

The developer mailing list is called pearpc-devel. This is where the main development and project coordination will take place. If you want to help with development, please:

Please don't spread (post to another forum, use on your homepage) the mail-address of the mailing list.

Be nice, not rude. Don't get personal. Don't flame. You will be banned otherwise. You may curse however. Make sure you know how to quote. Don't post in HTML format!

If your post doesn't get answered: don't give up!
As a rule of thumb: If your post has not been answered for 3 full days, please re-post it. If still no one answers, re-post it after 2 full days, then 1.
If still no one has answered any of your three postings, send us a mail directly:

		Subject: POST-NOT-ANSWERED-3x
		Body: I sent the 3 mails on $DAY1, $DAY2 and $DAY3.

The user mailing list is called pearpc-user. This is for people using the program. If you are experiencing problems, running our official releases, please post to our mailing list. The address is:
